Who really knows the meaning of a dollar?

I don’t mean from a normal stand point. Like growing up I was always raised to save money for later on. I think when I turned 12 or so I realized that money was all that I cared about. I love money and my extreme desire for money has propelled me into a lot of things that I shouldn’t be doing at my age.
2 CommentsI am only 16 and I am doing stuff like smoking weed, drinking, and selling anything I can to make a buck. I want to know how you guys feel about this. I know my girlfriend doesn’t like what I do but I do it to have money. See I am still as broke as they come, but I make money. What I really want to know is if there is anyone out there in the same boat as me, or who can justify my actions as understandable.

Help with an 18 year old boy?

My boyfriend has an 18 year old son. The 18 year old does nothing but smoke a bunch of weed and talk about drinking whiskey and beer. He doesn’t work and doesn’t seem to have anything he wants to do. He hasn’t signed up for college yet. He did sign up for the navy and then changed his mind b/c he wanted to go to the marines instead….then something happened and they said no and discarged him. But it seems like all he can talk about is all of these places he would drink and smoke weed. And apparently…the according to the boy, he’s been smoking weed since at least 10 years old.

He doesn’t live with me…he lives with his mom. He just happened to be up where I live for a week. I didn’t realize how bad he liked to party until he came up.

look shes asked me to stop going out as much and i have she tells me to stop smoking weed and i have. Now she wants me to change my underwear…whenz it gonna end? I told her (im sorry but i am that guy who still wears TIGHTY WHITIES) but come one, ill meet ya half way with other things but i think my underwear is my choice and so what if their tighty whities, i like support and they are comfy. She wants boxers and says shes gonna throw all of mine out. Do I have a case hear ladies? Shouldnt she except my preference or do i have change another thing for her?

Why does society lie about weed?

I used to be one of those people who said ‘I will never, ever try weed,’ and a lot of that was thanks to my upbringing. Once I moved out of my parents’ house, I had the opportunity to try it and I did. After that, I became a regular pot head. But, everywhere I turn, I hear people saying how it completely impairs your mind and causes you to do things you wouldn’t normally and all this crap about how it’s so terrible and addicting. My questions is: WHEN DID THE REST OF THE WORLD STOP TO TRY IT EVEN ONCE? Every single pot head I have ever met was not addicted to it. And I know people use that whole “I can stop whenever I want to” line as a major cliche but it’s true. Marijuana is not an addictive thing and people really can quit it cold turkey. But, hell, who would want to? It’s just like smoking a cigarette but even safer because it doesn’t hurt your lungs anywhere near a tenth what cigaretts do. All weed does is relax you (same as nicotine) and make you want to eat and sleep. BACK OFF!
BTW I haven’t been smoking weed in a long time cuz I’m breastfeeding and I was pregnant, so don’t tell me I’m an addict.
Okay Daniel D, your kind of talk is what I’m talking about. Weed never affected my muscles, problem solving, reaction time, immune system or any of that. My immune system has always been great and still is. And about the tar and chemicals, weed is a plant - not a manufactured drug or cigarette. Tobacco is one thing, but when you add nicotine is where you get tar. Weed isn’t manufactured at all, it’s grown, dried, crumbled up, rolled into a joint, and smoked. No where in there does it mix with chemicals unless you buy it from a dumb dealer who laced it.
Another thing, I’ve never suffered from memory loss on weed. And I don’t drive high.

Daniel, stop doing research because the people who wrote that s*** have never smoked weed and have no idea what it causes.
“M” - thank you for your input and I wanted to tell you that the comments I made were because they are the most debated ideas. I know about the contributions to the medical field and I understand that some people tolerate it better than others. However, my anger is directed towards the people who do not take the time to really understand it and yet still talk down on it. Like I said, I haven’t smoked in who-knows-how-long, but I get tired of people saying things about it that aren’t true. So, “M”, I’m sorry if I have delayed the legallization of marijuana, that was never my intention. I simply wonder why so many people trash it without even knowing what it truly does.

How can I get my boyfriend to cut back on his marijuana smoking?

My boyfriend is 18, and I’m a year younger. My boyfriend has been smoking weed since he was 13 or something like that. He has Tourettes Syndrome. (It was worse when he was younger, but not as worse as others with Tourettes.) He believes pot has helped him relax his nerves more. (Which I can understand; he is using it partially for medical reasons.) However, I think he smokes it too much. Whenever I bring it up, he tells me, ” Pot isn’t even harmful! Do you want to hear the facts? It’s not as worse as others drugs, it can’t kill you. ” etc. I don’t want him to quit because I think it helps with his Tourettes, but he has Athsma as well, and I KNOW it doesn’t help with that. How can I get him to cut back a little? 
I would like to see him do something productive, like get a job. I love him so much, but I think he should really expand his horizon a bit past just smoking weed and hanging out with friends since he’s 18. I smoke weed, but definitely not as much as my man. Any suggestions?
Just so you know how much he smokes it, he takes a bong hit in the morning, and before he goes to bed. If his friends comes over, he does it 75% of the day I’m estimating. If his friends don’t come over, he smokes it 25% of the day. But his friends are over almost everyday anyways.
Some asked this, so I’ll answer quickly. The reason I am against it, if you didn’t get it, is because I want him to do something else then smoke pot all day. He doesn’t do anything productive, and he’s 18. He needs to start his life.

He left school a year ago to spend a couple years trying to become a professional golfer(he’s really good). But he started smoking weed and now it’s starting to sound like its all he cares about. Everytime I see him he tells me he’s going to get high later. Do you think its going to ruin his dream of being a pro golfer and should I tell him?

im just curios cuz i know if you inhale weed from a bong it is different from smoking weed. and since smoke causes cancer, then it should be better for me to inhale from a bong. or is it just as bad on your lungs as smoking is??????????
